We are firm believers in improving people's physical and mental wellbeing through efficient exercise, balanced with good energy and a positive outlook on life in general.
I have worked on the family farm from a young age, but I always had a passion for health, fitness and sport So I went to the University of south Wales to study Sports coaching and performance. It was there that I realised that I really enjoyed coaching people.
I gained a wealth of experience in Uni coaching rugby and strength and conditioning to loads of different groups of all abilities and loved it.
The farm was always calling after university so I decided to return home to help with the family business. It was 6 years ago I decided to merge these two passions and created a gym based on the farm called “Cattlestrength”
The gym is based right in the middle of the farm that creates a unique training experience.
Outside of the gym I have always had a huge interest in rugby, and have played at both semi professional and professional levels for the last 9 years. I am blessed to have been able to work with elite level coaches, players and mentors.
We've helped 100's of people tranform their lives over the last few years and we're just getting started!
People love the simplicity of what we offer, but don't just take our word for it!
"After having my 3rd child I had been struggling to lose weight. I tried other weight loss regimes but wasn't working. I then joined Rhy's gym and he taught me about calories and exercise and to maintain it in everyday life."

"As soon as lockdown started I found it very hard as my usual routine changed overnight, the Cattle Strength app made it easier for me to keep up with my fitness. Even if you miss a day you can catch up on missed workouts on your days off. Rhys is very helpful and when I needed help on my diet, he advised straight away what I needed to change. I'd highly recommend Rhys and the app to anyone! "

"Rhys taught me about energy balance and how to implement it in my current lifestyle."
